Well, we all left Kauai with heavy hearts, so I guess the vacation was a huge success! We absolutely loved the houses. Everyone was very comfortable, and it was great to have Buddy Hale so close by. The kitchen was perfect, the family room, all of it. You are very lucky people!!!!!

Gary, We had a great time in Kauai. We loved the restaurant you suggested. The only problem was we didn't have enough time to enjoy the house. It seemed we were off somewhere most of the time. One good thing, I never had to use the stove or dishwasher. We couldn't find the taco truck place. Went to Roy's and to Lawai Restaurant. Also had the special at Hamura's Saimin Stand and made it to Hyatt Hotel Breakfast Buffet for Easter. Went to Princeville for the day and drive up the Waimea Canyon and took the helicopter and boat ride. Snorkel, scuba, hike, luau, several beaches(some busy and some with only a few people on them), and shopped until we dropped. Went to see several sunsets but never saw the green flash. Loved the beach at the end of the road on the west side. The sand was like velvet. Went to the end of all the main roads on the island. The one thing I wanted to do, that I didn't have time for was shoot the rooster or roosters. The one good thing he/they got us up and going every morning. We didn't waste much time. Thanks again for all the tips on where to go. We enjoyed your little part of paradise. Caroline LaVoy
